MISSION

Room For One More Rescue was born out of a desire to provide a better life for adoptable companion animals without homes and to assist in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals through a low kill methodology.

The key principles that we follow to accomplish our goals are:
  • Place adoptable animals in forever homes, after providing thorough and quality veterinary care.
  • Shelter and find homes for sick, injured, abused and abandoned adoptable domestic animals.
  • Reduce overpopulation of these animals through spay and neuter programs.
  • Prevent cruelty to these animals by supporting animal protection laws.
  • Foster compassion towards these animals through education.
  • Share our knowledge and experience with other animal welfare organizations, and work as a community to best support these many animals.


VISION STATEMENT
Room For One More Rescue envisions and works towards the day where every adoptable companion animal has a loving, responsible home; where no animal will suffer from abuse, neglect or ignorance.

We hope through education, empathy and understanding, we can help our communities understand and accept that adoptable companion animals are not a disposable commodity. We encourage people to responsibly spay or neuter their animals to put an end to the overpopulation that exists today.

Our Vision means that we will work tirelessly with a network of fosters, fellow rescues, the veterinary community and local animal control agencies to make sure there is always Room For One More Rescue - so that we never have to turn an animal in need away.
